PCM for Other Specialties

PCM services can be provided to Medicare part B patients by any specialty. The basic requirements are that the patient has to have one high-risk or complex condition that would typically persist for 3 months to a year.  The practice would need to have the bandwidth to provide 30 minutes per month of non-face-to-face PCM services.  PCM services may be ideal for practices that have additional bandwidth and patients that would benefit from higher degree of direct care by a provider, including mid-level providers.
